Beyond his role as a Partner at Slaughter and May, Andrew is a Sponsor Partner for DIVERSE, the firm’s race and ethnicity inclusion network, a Continuity Partner to several trainees and a Mentor to numerous individuals through internal mentoring programmes. He is a member of the Race Fairness Partner-Led Working Group, where he focuses on improving the strategy to recruit, retain, and promote ethnic minority talent. Subsequently, mentoring and leadership programmes have been launched for ethnic minorities alongside tools for partners and other senior leaders at the firm to support ethnic minority talent development.  Andrew also engages in reverse mentoring to deepen his understanding of the experiences of ethnic minority employees. He is also Sponsor Partner for the SoMo Network, the firm’s social mobility network, which began with his support as a sub-committee of DIVERSE and launched as its own network in 2023.
