David joined LV= as CEO in 2022 amidst a period of change for the business. Recognising the need for a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, he prioritised implementing a strategy that puts DE&I front and centre. He worked closely with his Senior Leadership Team to boost diversity data to over 70% and invited them to participate in DE&I networks to promote cultural change. By championing the Respect Network, David supports LV’s efforts to empower women from all backgrounds and to encourage them into senior roles. He has a strong personal commitment to DE&I, having championed opportunities for underrepresented individuals in and out of work. He was formerly a Trustee of the UK Foundation and supported charitable projects that promote people’s emotional and physical well-being, including the BAME men’s mental health charity, Key Changes.
