Emily has been actively engaged in several DEI and other employee engagement activities, serving as co-chair of the Diverse Professionals Network (DPN) Task Force, leading the Education & Programming sub-committee. She also serves as the co-chair of the Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM) Racial Equity & Inclusion Task Force. Emily has led the collaborative development and facilitation of BAAM’s Courageous Conversations (following the murder of George Floyd in 2020) and the similarly designed focus group discussions around violence against the AAPI community for the DPN. She is actively involved in the BAAM Charitable Committee, the BAAM Women’s Initiative, the Legal & Compliance Collaboration and Development Committee, and the numerous Pro Bono activities they engage in. Outside of Blackstone, Emily sits on the board of the Asian American Federation.
