Louise is the Executive member responsible for the design and implementation of Diageo’s Inclusion and Diversity strategy. In 2020, Louise led the creation of Diageo’s progressive Ethnic Inclusion & Diversity Framework to support markets to define multi-year plans covering representation, capability, and external partnerships that impact society. This also included setting an ambitious goal to increase ethnic diverse representation across leadership to 45% by 2030, and after two years, representation stands at 41%. The collective sense of responsibility that Louise has fostered has led to more than 80% of Diageo’s global workforce, and 95% of its leadership population, disclosing their ethnic background. This is believed to be one of the highest disclosure levels in a global company.
