Pooh Vichidvongsa, Senior Vice President of pOpshelf at Dollar General, champions inclusive leadership by empowering her team and actively participating in Dollar General’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). In her most recent role as VP and Division Merchandise Manager of Health & Beauty Care, a department mainly composed of women, Pooh guided and developed women leaders. In the Women's Professional Network (WPN) ERG, she spearheads initiatives for leadership development and workplace transformation, like a feminine care product drive for the Community Resource Center. Collaborating with the African American ERG (AAERG), Pooh enhances Dollar General's diverse culture through community outreach, including projects for Black History Month. As a mentor and advocate for inclusion, Pooh fosters relationships, hosts interns from local colleges, and participates in volunteer events supporting organizations like The Black Book Project. Additionally, she played a key role in establishing the Asian American Pacific Islander ERG, embodying her commitment to diversity and inclusion within Dollar General.
