Donna, a four-time Olympian, formed the ED&I Advocate Group at UK Athletics, to empower employees who are passionate about inclusion. Driving this is the main objective, and the group develops annual activities for colleagues to get involved in to raise awareness of ED&I throughout the organization. Most recently, they have launched the first collaborative mentoring project with the England and Wales Cricket Board, and held their first Let’s Talk LGBT+ network event, engaging staff, athletes, coaches and officials, to help address issues within the LGBT+ athletics community. Donna has led several training programs and sessions, including at the Officials Conference – the first ED&I session of its kind – and the UK Coaching Conference, addressing the need for diversity and inclusion in coaching. She is also the Vice Chair and ED&I Champion for the British Athletes Commission, supporting them in achieving the Equality Standard for Sport Immediate Level.
